Vision

Ellard is the culmination of extensive planning and vision, and has been designed to recreate and even improve on the classic neighborhoods of yesterday.  There are approximately 90 homes in the neighborhood.  The homes are inspired with the historic character of traditional American building types found in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States between 1750 and 1930.  Each Ellard home is unique, while blending with the natural elegance of the Stephen Fuller neighborhood design. 

The community offers traditional elements including parks, tree-lined/lamp-lighted sidewalks, porches and verandahs.  The pristine land design includes acres of open spaces, greenbelts and wildlife preserves - land which will remain protected and undisturbed.

Caretaker's House (Fitness Center): 
A Caretaker's House, designed to represent buildings at the entryways of estates common in England in the 18th Century, yet housing a modern fitness center and security gate house. The gate house is staffed 24 hrs a day, and provides gated access to residents via wireless remote. The security system features a state of the art computer system which enables residents to securely manage guest access via the internet and keep the security staff advised of any visitor restrictions.

Conservatory (Clubhouse):  
A Georgian-style clubhouse located on a four-acre preserve near the Chattahoochee River fronted by the lush Conservatory Park.  It serves as a gathering place for social, business and other informal activities, and features large facing stone fireplaces, a full kitchen, large screen TV, and covered veranda overlooking, a turn of the century style swimming pool and gazebo.  Downstairs is a stone grotto providing showers and changing rooms.

Tennis Courts: 
Ellard is a very active tennis neighborhood.  Two lighted tennis courts are home to the Ellard ALTA and USAT teams.  Courts are available for all residents, 8AM to 10PM.

Basketball Court: 
A half-court basketball court is great for pick-up games.  The courts are situated behind the pool and overlook the river.

Parks and Walking Trails:  
Over 12 acres of parkland throughout the neighborhood honor the settlers of this area from the Garrard family, and play host to some of the numerous community social events throughout the year.  These areas feature miles of walking trails with picnic areas and private access to the beautiful Chattahoochee River.  And all the while, you’re still located just minutes away from all that the Atlanta area has to offer.
